Welcome all to Harry Potter: Family Studies class!

This class is one hundred percent focused on the families J.K. Rowling created in the Harry Potter series. However, not only will you learn about several family trees in the world of Harry Potter, but I also hope to teach you more interesting facts about each family. This class will be focused on four pure-blood families in the Harry Potter world. For this term, the four families that will be studied are: the Weasleys, the Blacks, the Peverells, and the Dumbledores. There are many more families from the Harry Potter world to be studied; so, if your favourite family was not chosen for this term, make sure you check back next term because there is a very good chance the lessons will have changed.

So, let me introduce myself. My name is Adaleine Shuster, and I will be your student-teacher for this term. I'm currently a second year. I enjoy baking, solving logic puzzles, and taking pictures of dogs. Prof. Opal Curare and Alexander Greb put this class together a couple years ago and Sirius Fudge fulfilled the role of Class Assistant. Sirius Fudge taught this class for a few years after being class assistant, and now I'm teaching it!
